Mind floater

Mind floating in the middle of the ocean during a tsunami

Looking up at the sky as my life is flashing and time fly's by me

Wondering how I get here am I meant to go like this

With nothing to my name waves pushing me to the wayside's abyss

As my thoughts dance and materialize projecting ambition

I was told I was lacking but I don't buy that tuition

Barely any from the bottom to the top success stories where I'm from

Can't be inspired when most news is about a rising homicide sum

Everything is dull and what was great moves or gets closed down

Any fat the city had is leaving pound for pound

I'm thinking maybe it could be me opening up the key

I share my thoughts to deaf ears no one agrees

When your favorite dreams are nightmares in your own world

You wake from dieing enough times to realize that's a failing of goals

Trying to find help and direction like this is a hell of a feat.

Wish it was as easy as writing the lyrics of what you think

In my perspective I'm feeling right and living right

Trying to fish my plans but my pitches not getting bites

Know I'm blessed but good karma never came to visit

Thinking up ways now to find her myself and solicit

Both halves of my mind wants me to be something by 26

Threatening the ending of their peace treaty if I ain't shit

Deadline is approaching quickly if something could pop

If I get just one inch of success I'd begin to network my empire shop

Is this all momentum of a breeze just casually floating my way

Raindrops parading through my sunshine causing delay

As my tsunami thought process hits land and begins to weaken

I need to make a move soon because my time is rapidly shrinking
